Part 2

Welcome back, this is part two of the tutorial: section 2.

Section 2: Downloading Dragon Nest and Making Dragon Nest Character

Requirements: 

-Nexon Account (See Section 1)

Step 1: Go to Dragon Nest Website at http://dragonnest.nexon.net/ and click Play Icon. The Icon is located at the top-left corner, you can't miss it. If you haven't download Dragon Nest and install it, Nexon will launch an auto download. (Images shown below). 

 

  

Step 2: You can either save the set up file or Run it, then a pop up will appear and you just agree and click yes or install and it will install by itself. It takes a couple of minutes. (Images shown below).

 

Step 3: After you have completely install, there should be a shortcut on your desktop name "Dragon Nest", double click it and it should take you back to the Dragon Nest website, and  click play again, log in if you haven't. Then a Launcher will appear (Image shown below).  

 

Step 4: Wait till the yellow and orange bar to fill up to 100% then click play. An administrator notification will pop up, click yes, then your game is launched. (Image shown below).

There is 4 different Servers:

-Elena- West

-Argenta- East

-Velskud- West

-Gerrant- East

Step 5: Choose a server, I recommend that you choose a server base on the region you live in. Then you will be taken to a character selection screen where you have to customize your own character and give it a name. (Image shown below).

Step 6: Choose a class. There are 4 classes: Warrior, Archer, Cleric, And Sorceress. I won’t get into too much detail about classes till later posts. So just choose the one you like, and customize it. It is time for you to name your character, since there are a lot of people playing this game so most common, basic, and popular names are taken. Try to come up with a name you really like because once you named your character, you can’t change it ever again. Congratulation you have just made a character in Dragon Nest.
